A Peak Inside My Living Room
I moved to California just before the pandemic, and during that time, I dove into decorating. The past few years I’ve spent nesting and decorating, it’s been so fun, and it’s become a creative outlet and a way to enjoy my small space.
As a kid, one of my favorite movies was Matilda. For my apartment in Los Angeles, I wanted to create a place that had everything that I loved about Miss Honey’s cottage–the flowers, the coziness, the feeling of being tucked away. It’s still a work in progress, but I think that is part of the fun. There are flowers, and plants, and nature inspired decor throughout–it’s been a joy to nest here and I’m excited to share my little apartment.

I saved up for a year and splurged Black Friday 2019 for The Frame TV. Absolutely no regrets! My TV art is from Juniper Print Shop . TV Stand is Target–similar one here.
The shelves were such a good find from Ikea and the prints were all found at antique stores. Similar ones can be found on Etsy here.
These ivory pom pillows are one of my favorite things in the room. They are not your coziest pillow (made from jute), but they will make a statement in the room. Rust accent pillows are from Target (similar one here) and my Texas Homesick candle was a gift from the sweetest friend.
The Frame TV and some of my favorite coffee table books: The Kinfolk Garden, In Full Flower, Live Beautiful, and Sunday Suppers.
Rattan Chair and similar rattan pendant light. My curtains are from West Elm!
And my plant corner. 🤍 This corner keeps growing and growing–it makes me so happy and is so fun to care for. Amazon has great plant stand options that are often on sale.
